Darren joins PRCI from Enterprise Products, where he was a Senior Integrity Engineer within their Asset Integrity Department. He was responsible for a wide variety of pipeline integrity planning, compliance and implementation support initiatives spanning the Enterprise midstream operations, including both new construction and existing lines. Prior to that, Darren worked for Jayhawk Pipeline in Kansas, a liquids system owned by the National Cooperative Refining Association, as Senior Staff Engineer where he developed, implemented and managed their Integrity Management Program and Public Awareness Program. He oversaw the implementation of Jayhawk's GIS system, and managed a number of pipeline expansion projects. During his time at Jayhawk, Darren also taught project and operations management and business courses at local community colleges. Previously, he was with Pipeline Integrity International (the predecessor to GE-PII) as an engineer and project manager for their pipeline inspection projects, and with Project Consulting Services, a pipeline design & engineering firm. All in, he has been involved with the pipeline industry for ~25 years. Darren has a degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University, and a MBA with a Technology Management Concentration from University of Houston - Clear Lake. Darren is assuming the general responsibility for the PRCI Operations & Integrity Technical Committee (O&I TC), to implement the projects and programs pursued under O&I, with particular emphasis on the NDE and ILI technology development & characterization and Mechanical Damage programs.
