Darren Kiekel, Senior Program Manager
Darren joins PRCI from Enterprise Products, where he was a Senior Integrity Engineer within their Asset Integrity Department. He was responsible for a wide variety of pipeline integrity planning, compliance and implementation support initiatives spanning the Enterprise midstream operations, including both new construction and existing lines. Prior to that, Darren worked for Jayhawk Pipeline in Kansas, a liquids system owned by the National Cooperative Refining Association, as Senior Staff Engineer where he developed, implemented and managed their Integrity Management Program and Public Awareness Program. He oversaw the implementation of Jayhawk's GIS system, and managed a number of pipeline expansion projects. During his time at Jayhawk, Darren also taught project and operations management and business courses at local community colleges. Previously, he was with Pipeline Integrity International (the predecessor to GE-PII) as an engineer and project manager for their pipeline inspection projects, and with Project Consulting Services, a pipeline design & engineering firm. All in, he has been involved with the pipeline industry for ~25 years. Darren has a degree in electrical engineering from Kansas State University, and a MBA with a Technology Management Concentration from University of Houston - Clear Lake. Darren is assuming the general responsibility for the PRCI Operations & Integrity Technical Committee (O&I TC), to implement the projects and programs pursued under O&I, with particular emphasis on the NDE and ILI technology development & characterization and Mechanical Damage programs. Darren is based in Houston, TX.
Steven Trevino, Project Manager
Steven comes to PRCI from Oceaneering, Inc., where he provided operational support to Oceaneering's onshore and offshore facilities operations as both a Mechanical Engineer and an Applications Engineer. Within their Asset Integrity division he worked on new product development, providing technical and product expertise to support customers and for training Oceaneering sales staff. Steven is offshore-qualified and spent six months in Norway supporting the Oceaneering North Sea customer base. Most recently, he has provided direct support to the PRCI pipe repository operations (PRCI Technology Development Center) that is located at Oceaneering in Houston. Steven is a 2010 graduate of Texas A&M, with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He will be responsible for the general operations of the Technology Development Center, and for the PRCI subsea technology development program within the O&I TC. Steven is based in Houston, TX
Kelly Bailey, Project Control Analyst
In one sense Kelly is rejoining PRCI, as she previously oversaw our sublessee tenancy at our offices in Arlington, VA from 2001-2009 at TechAmerica, previously known as the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA). Kelly most recently worked there as Sr. Director of Administration & HR, a position she held for 16 years. Before that, she progressed through a set of seminar and conference management responsibilities at ITAA for a total of 26 years with the company. Kelly has a Business Administration degree from Cal State - Hayward, and is handling a variety of financial and administrative responsibilities in support of the R&D program. She is located in Falls Church, VA.
