Every year, PRCI produces a collaborative research portfolio aligning with the industry’s priorities by means of an annual voting ballot. Members allocate funds directly to projects of importance to their operations and business drivers.
Member Subscription & Supplemental Funding
The majority of funding for PRCI’s research portfolio comes from the pipeline industry through the annual subscriptions of member companies. In addition to the allocation by members of their subscriptions, members may also contribute supplemental funding to projects they determine worthy of commitment.
Funding for the PRCI research portfolio is further augmented by Co-Funding from non-member energy pipeline companies, technology development firms, and government agencies and instrumentalities. Co-Funding allows non-members to participate in the selection, management, and benefits of PRCI’s technology development.
