An annual report summarized the work completed in the third phase of the project. The relationship between the coupon and the pipe was the primary focus. The overall objectives of Phase III are: (1) to provide a better understanding of the relationship between the coupon and the surface condition of the pipe and (2) to quantify technology such that it can be used as an alternative to conventional monitoring practices, specifically as a means of applying acceptable criteria for CP.
