The Compressor and Pump Station Technical Committee has a project underway to enhance ambient emission modeling for nitrous dioxide. Recent changes in requirements by FERC and local air enforcement agencies have made permitting new or modified facilities more difficult. As such, a JIP project is being accelerated at the request of the operators. The funding for this project is in reasonable shape with additional funding opportunities available. The project is in most need of a host test site. Any party potentially interested in hosting should contact Gary Choquette.
