Compressor and Pump Station Technical Committee Meetings
The Compressor and Pump Station Technical Committee held their winter meeting in January. The first day of the meeting was a joint session with the Gas Machinery Research Committee. A representative of INGAA was also in attendance. The meeting focused on identifying the significant and emerging issues facing the industry. This information will be used to update the Committee Roadmaps and develop the research focus for 2014. A status review of projects underway was performed. Efforts necessary to initiate new research projects was also reviewed.
The next meeting is scheduled for June 11-13 in Toronto. The meeting will focus on identifying the specific research projects needed for 2014.
Measurement Technical Committee Meetings
The Measurement Technical Committee held their winter meeting in February. The meeting was hosted by the Southwest Research Institute. The meeting focused on efforts required to get the 2013 research projects under way, review of projects underway, presentations of recently completed projects, emerging and priority measurement issues, and identifying the value completed research projects. Information was gathered to update the Measurement Roadmap.
The next committee meeting is scheduled for April 23-25 in Niagara-on-the-Lake. The meeting will focus on identifying 2014 research efforts.
