PRCI and our research partners received notification from PHMSA in May 2010 that a number of the White Papers that were submitted in response to PHMSA’s Broad Agency Announcement (BAA, DTPH56-10-BAA-000001) were accepted. PRCI supported the preparation of 13 separate technical proposals that are aligned with and build upon our current research programs, including extensions and continuations of ongoing, active research projects and several new projects that are consistent with PRCI’s Research Program roadmaps. A number of the new projects are included on PRCI’s 2011 annual voting ballot. PHMSA has indicated that a review of the technical proposals is underway and notification of pending awards is expected within the next month.
