On March 1, 2017, Mike Whelan was promoted to Vice President, Research Operations for PRCI. Mike is a key part of the PRCI team, and has been a part of PRCI for over 15 years, as either a contractor or full-time staff.
As the Director of Research Operations, he has done a great job of enhancing the execution of our research portfolio. He is the staff lead for the Research Steering Committee, has strengthened our contracting process and managed a number of consortium projects.
As PRCI's Vice President of Research Operations, he is responsible for the PRCI R&D Contracting and Corporate Financial Management functions, while providing general support to, and oversight of, the PRCI program management staff and R&D program execution.
As the Vice President of Operations, Mike will continue to strengthen the research program and will provide overall leadership needed to enhance PRCI and member value.
