• Industry identified a need for robust, consistent, and transparent methods for evaluating the cost effectiveness of CO2e-related initiatives.
• CO2e-related analyses are inherently cross-functional, requiring engineering, operations, finance, and regulatory expertise. The tool is intended to enhance collaboration among subject matter experts.
• The tool’s main interface is form-based where alternative scenarios are assembled and forecast in parallel. Because all forecasts contain uncertainty, the relative merits of competing alternative are more valuable than predictions of absolute value.
