Join the PRCI Measurement Technical Committee as they present research data to provide a better understanding of how composite sample mixing methodology and centrifugal forces impact density determination and S&W results.  This research provides a foundation for improved measurement along with industry standardization.

Presenter:  Rubia Mariath, Northern Alberta Institute of Technology
Host:  Allen Wong, Enbridge
Moderator:  Angie Mallahan, PRCI

Learning Outcomes/Benefits from Attending this Webinar:

Karl Fischer will find more water than the centrifuge method, as it considers the total water in the sample and not just free water as in the centrifuge method.

Higher centrifuge forces did not reduce rag layer formation, and the centrifuge method can understate S&W content because of it

Centrifuge method for the field test has space for improvement and optimization
