Call for Members, Industry Partners, and Technology Developers: DOE Funding Opportunity Concept Review and Collaboration Opportunities

ACTION REQUESTED: Review the concept materials, complete the applicable forms, and submit all completed documents to Research@PRCI.org

PRCI members are invited to review the attached research concepts developed in response to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advancing Oil and Natural Gas Production and Delivery funding opportunity (DE-FOA-0003634) and consider opportunities to participate as collaborators, project partners, subject matter experts, or providers of field validation sites.

This funding opportunity supports innovative technologies that improve resource utilization, infrastructure resilience, operational efficiency, and digital transformation across the oil and natural gas value chain. Eligible applicants include domestic universities, for-profit companies, nonprofit organizations, state and local government entities, and Indian Tribes, with projects requiring a minimum 20% cost share and strong industry engagement.

Members interested in supporting or joining a project team are encouraged to contact the concept lead identified with each idea to discuss potential contributions, cost-share participation, data support, testing facilities, or commercialization partnerships. Technology developers, service providers, research organizations, and other vendors interested in serving as lead applicants or proposal team members are also encouraged to review the concepts and engage directly with interested members to form competitive teams for submission.

Early engagement is recommended to facilitate partner alignment, develop letters of intent and commitment, and strengthen proposals prior to the application deadline.
