The 25th Joint Technical Meeting (JTM) on Pipeline Research will be hosted by the Australian Pipelines & Gas Association (APGA) from May 2nd to 7th, 2027 in Sydney, Australia. The JTM provides an exclusive forum for collaboration and knowledge-sharing across the global pipeline industry, via the tripartite agreement between the APGA, the Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) and the European Pipeline Research Group (EPRG). The event is an exciting opportunity to gain the latest insights into the innovative research supporting the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of pipeline infrastructure, as our industry responds to the challenges and opportunities of the energy transition and the need to maintain energy security.
Abstracts should focus on technical presentations relating to research and innovative practices across the lifecycle of pipeline systems, including (but not limited to):
• Pipeline integrity, inspection, and corrosion
• Materials, welding, and construction
• Operations, maintenance, and emissions management
• Geohazards
• External interference
• Future fuels and emerging fluids
• Safety, regulation, standards, and social license
• Data, Digital, AI
• Workforce Development
• Subsea
