2025 Banff Pipeline Workshop

Bridging the Past, Present and Future
April 7-10, 2025
Banff, Alberta

The biennial Banff Pipeline Workshop is a four-day event that draws 800+ technical leaders from Operating Companies, Regulators, Producers, Vendors, Consultants, Academia and Industry Associations, offering delegates and track leaders a venue to collaborate with others on pipeline problems too big to solve alone.

Volunteers are needed to promote PRCI research at the workshop, an interactive forum to ideate and incubate pipeline engineering/safety R&D, standards, regulation, and best practices. Track leaders organize 90 min open and interactive workshop sessions in which solutions to technical challenges and novel ideas can be shaped and vetted with a broad cross section of industry experts. Proposed technical tracks include:

  • Industry Opportunities (Energy Diversification)
  • Regulations & Standards
  • Upstream Pipelines
  • Facility Integrity
  • Pipeline Design & Construction
  • Process Safety
  • Risk Management
  • Inspection & Monitoring
  • Corrosion & Cracking
  • Data Management & Analytics
  • Geohazards
  • Pipeline ROW (Damage Prevention)
