Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI) Announces New Executive Board Members and Leadership Appointments

Pipeline Research Council International (PRCI), a global leader in pipeline research and innovation, is pleased to announce the appointment of new Executive Board members and the election of a new Chair and Vice Chair, setting the stage for continued growth and progress in the pipeline industry. 

Chair & Vice Chair Appointments 

• Chair – Walter Crommelin, Manager of HSE for Gasunie: Mr. Crommelin played a pivotal role in the development of the PRCI Emerging Fuels Institute (EFI).  He shared his enthusiasm, saying, “Participating in the discussions surrounding the EFI was enlightening and invigorating. I think PRCI did a great job, and I am excited to work in a broader role.” 
• Vice Chair – Nick Homan, Integrity and Corrosion Engineering Manager for Marathon Pipe Line: Mr. Homan will steer the future of PRCI with his experience.  He stated, “As Vice Chair, I am excited to contribute to the strategic direction of the PRCI organization by promoting effective collaboration for all aspects of pipeline energy systems research into the future.” 

New Executive Board Members 

• Matt Frank, Vice President of National Fuel Gas Supply Corporation: Mr. Frank brings extensive industry experience and a forward-looking perspective to PRCI. He stated, “I am motivated by the challenges and opportunities that PRCI and our member companies will face as the energy industry evolves and advances in the coming decades. I believe that PRCI will continue to play a critical role in advancing research that will support the evolution of global pipeline systems.” 
• Joe Zhou, Vice President of Engineering Governance and Asset Integrity at TC Energy: Mr. Zhou's deep technical knowledge and broad experience in pipeline systems make him a valuable addition to PRCI. He expressed, "I believe that with my background, I can make positive contributions to the success of PRCI." 

Together, these newly appointed Executive Board members and our Chair and Vice Chair bring a renewed energy and vision to PRCI. Their expertise and commitment to the pipeline industry’s well-being will undoubtedly strengthen our ability to meet the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. 

Mark Gebbia, PRCI Past Chair, expressed his confidence in the newly appointed leaders by stating, “We are delighted to welcome Matt Frank and Joe Zhou to our Executive Board, and congratulate Walter Crommelin and Nick Homan on their appointments as Chair and Vice Chair.  These individuals bring remarkable expertise and dedication to PRCI. I am confident that under their leadership, PRCI will continue to thrive as a hub for cutting-edge pipeline research and innovation.”
