The PRCI Measurement Technical Committee recently completed an evaluation of new hydrogen sulfide analyzers. These analyzers employ new measurement methods and therefore do not have the environmental disposal issues associated with traditional lead acetate tape based analyzers. Three instruments were tested as part of this study.
All of the instruments tested accurately measured hydrogen sulfide but one of the three instruments suffered from a poor response time.
