PRCI is pleased to announce that Berg Steel Pipe has joined as a Technical Program Associate Member in the Design, Materials & Construction Technical Committee.
In January 2013, we welcomed Berg Steel as a member of PRCI. Berg Steel is a member of the Europipe Group, the world-market leader in large-diameter linepipe production. Berg's Pipe and Coating Mills are located in Mobile, AL and Panama City, FL. They manufacture longitudinal and spiral seam-welded large-diameter pipes ranging from 24- 56" OD with wall thickness up to 1.5" and grades to X-80. Coating mills are adjacent to the pipe mills to minimize handling costs. Double jointing facilities are available at the SAWL pipe mill. From its office in Houston (Berg Europipe Corp.) they offer a fully integrated supply chain representing the mills of the Berg and the Europipe Group. We would like to welcome General Manager of Quality Systems & Supply Chain Management, Dimitris Dimopulos, who will represent Berg Steel as the voting representative on the DMC Committee.
