Due to a change in his assignments and responsibilities at El Paso, Chris Whitney has resigned his position as Vice Chair of PRCI's Operations & Integrity Technical Committee (O&I TC). PRCI acknowledges Chris for his service as O&I TC Vice Chair, as he was instrumental in the initial formation and organization of the O&I TC as PRCI transitioned to the Technical Committee structure as part of the RDO program last year and continuing into 2009. Chris is a long-standing contributor to PRCI and we expect that he will continue to support our programs and play a role in the organization.
Replacing Chris will be John O'Brien of Chevron. John is one of Chevron's NDE experts and brings diverse background and experience to the role, as well as outstanding leadership qualities. John has been instrumental in developing the NDE Roadmap and in establishing renewed interest in offshore and subsea pipeline projects and programs. We welcome John to the role of Vice Chair.
