Please join the PRCI Corrosion Technical Committee as they present research results related to the development of a step-by-step approach to predicting failure pressure for cracks-in-corrosion (CIC) affected pipes. The researchers used finite element analyses (FEA) and full-scale burst testing to develop a predictive model for CIC defects.
Presenter: Reza Mostofi, Kiefner & Associates Host: Gary Vervake, Enbridge Moderator: Laurie Perry, PRCI
Benefits of attending: * Overview of the process (and formulation) to predicting failure pressure for CIC-affected pipes * Review of the dynamic methodology that allows for the prediction of failure pressure using partial and/or incomplete data from various sources with different information content, quality and cost.
Make the most of your time by reviewing the research report prior to attending. PR-218-173602-R01 Assessment of Fitness-for-Service for Crack-within-Corrosion Anomalies
Attendance is limited to the first 500 registrants to join the webinar. All remaining registrants will receive a link to view the webinar recording. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar.
