About PRIME

An essential element of the Research Deployment Optimization (RDO) initiative is the development of a database software tool to support the operation of our research program. This system is called PRIME (Pipeline Research Implementation Management Engine) and is now ready for member use.

PRIME is built for various classes of users within PRCI’s operations including: 1.) Technical Committee members, Project Team members, and Contractors; 2.) members of the Board of Directors; and 3.) PRCI Staff and Program Managers. Functionality and navigation have been oriented to each of these classes of users to improve the way in which you use the system.

As with any new and complex database, there may be both minor malfunctions and areas for improvement. So, while we have completed extensive testing and a commissioning exercise, we ask for your patience as we work through these issues and for your input on improvements you would like to see.

PRIME has been populated with an initial load of content for management information.  We will be continually updating this content with downloads from data sources such as our accounting systems and prior project management databases.  Additional content will be loaded by staff, contractors, and project team members as we move forward.  The intent is to keep current with new information, while selectively adding prior project information only as needed.  Staff will work with TC Chairs, Vice-chairs and Project Team leaders to determine those items.

We are confident that you will find PRIME to be highly valuable in enabling you to access all of the essential information you require in a highly organized manner to enhance the value of your membership and your participation in PRCI.

If you are a member of one of the various classes of users within PRCI identified above, we invite you to access PRIME.  Please register for an account by following the registration link at the top-right of the page.  NOTE: Current PRCI website account holders should have already received an email to activate their account.  Please do not register if you have received it and follow the instructions in the email.
